An independent studio creating narrative video games, based in Saint-Médard-en-Jalles, near Bordeaux.
The studio was founded in 2026 in Saint-Médard-en-Jalles, in the Gironde, specialising in visual design and real-time graphics technologies. Kabengo! is built on the experience of a seasoned collective.
After several years working on audiovisual and immersive projects (motion design, video mapping, etc.), the studio has developed a field of work that is particularly close to its heart: the design of narrative video games with a strong emotional impact.
We believe video games are, today, one of the most powerful mediums for passing on a collective memory to as many people as possible.
Our ambition is to offer a modern experience of remembrance, where interactivity elevates the transmission of real cultural heritage — without ever sacrificing the artistic and technical standards of an international production.
Paul Puaux — IP Creator, Art Direction, Studio Manager. Born in Biarritz.
Myriam Gallo — Narrative Lead & co-writer. Born in Bordeaux. An artist and novelist, she co-writes the studio's stories to give them their full literary and emotional depth.
Rémi Lonca — Composer. Born in Bayonne. A professional musician at the crossroads of rock and traditional Basque-Landes music.
The studio also works with a freelance technical lead, with a background at Ubisoft and CD Projekt Red, who ensures the robustness of the real-time production pipeline.
Adur: The Disappearance — Our first title, currently in pre-production.
Channig — Our next universe, still shrouded in mystery.
We apply an eco-responsible approach throughout our productions: a real-time rendering pipeline that limits reliance on energy-hungry server farms, a modular organisation that favours remote work and short circuits, and a 100% digital distribution model that avoids any pollution linked to physical manufacturing.
